Why Should We Pray?

God has ordained us to pray.  He intends to change us through our prayer and He has ordained that our prayers will be put to some good purpose in the world to bring about a good result.

How Should We Pray?

The closest the Bible comes to giving a pattern for prayer is the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.
We are to pray for the things the Lord’s Prayers talk about, using our own words.  It is our conversation with God.  The proper way to pray is to express our heart to God. God’s desire is for prayer to be real personal between Himself and us.
